A video-led site for Angus Scott, taking decades of broadcast experience into executive media training while keeping his presenter and pundit work front and centre.
Scott3Media is led by Angus Scott, a broadcast journalist and presenter whose career spans the BBC, ITV, ITN, TNT, Al Jazeera and beIN Sports. Known for training presenters, pundits and elite athletes, Angus wanted to take that experience into the corporate world, helping senior leaders handle the media, present with confidence and protect their brand. We worked with Angus and Zoe to plan and build a new site that supports that move, leading with executive media training while keeping his sport and presenter work front and centre.

Most of Angus’s work came through referrals and people who already knew him, and his website had grown around his sport and presenter training. As he moved into executive media training, he needed a site that could speak to a new audience: the HR directors and leadership teams booking training for their senior people. Those buyers want to know exactly what they’re getting, so they can build a business case for their CEO. Angus also wanted the site to feel like the work itself, with far more video, and to reach people beyond his existing network. Our job was to give each audience its own clear route, put the proof up front and help the business grow through search as well as referrals.

We started with a kick-off session to understand where Angus wanted to take the business and who each visitor would be. We mapped a sitemap around two clear routes, Executive Media Training and Sport & Presenter Training. Each has its own landing page and detailed service pages, so they work as well from search as from the homepage. After lo-fi wireframes, we moved into high-fidelity designs with a black, white and cream palette, serif headings for authority, a showreel hero and short looping studio clips. We then developed a custom WordPress theme built specifically for Scott3Media, with a page builder Angus and Zoe can manage themselves, video testimonials, FAQs managed across the site and a Client Stories area led by Channel 4’s Paralympics coverage with Rose Ayling-Ellis. We redirected every old URL and moved the site onto managed Squee hosting, built to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
