Digital Accessibility
Our audits test your website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA, the recognised standard in the UK and EU, and give you a prioritised plan to fix what we find.

Accessibility Audits
An accessibility audit is a systematic test of a website or app, identifying anything in its design or code that makes it harder for disabled people to use.
Every audit is measured against WCAG, a set of guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) that sets out what a website needs to do so disabled people can use it. There are several versions and levels to choose from, so we agree the right one with you. As standard, we test to WCAG 2.2 AA, the latest version at the level most organisations work to.
How We Work
We are members of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), and every audit follows the same five steps. It needs very little of your time: a scoping call at the start and a findings call at the end, with the testing in between done by us.
Pricing
Choose the depth of audit that fits your website and your obligations, from a Healthcheck of your five main templates to a full conformance audit across an agreed scope.
For smaller UK businesses that want a clear steer without the full-audit cost. We surface the most serious WCAG 2.2 AA issues and hand you a prioritised list of fixes.

Our Guarantee
Every Audit and Full Audit comes with a written guarantee covering how we test and what happens if we miss something.
The guarantee covers the pages and templates in your agreed scope, as they were when we tested them. Changes made after your audit are covered by our website support plans.
On an Audit or Full Audit, every template in scope is tested by hand against all 55 Level A and AA success criteria in WCAG 2.2, and you receive a record of every check alongside your report.
If a WCAG 2.2 AA failure is found on an audited template within 90 days of your report, and it was there when we tested, we add it to your report with the fix at no cost.
If we fix the issues for you, we retest every fix, and anything that still fails is fixed again at no cost.

After Your Audit
Your report is written so your own developers can work straight from it. If you would rather we made the changes, we offer:
We fix the issues on your current website, starting with the most serious.
Where the problems are in the structure of the site, rebuilding can cost less than patching, and we will tell you which applies before you commit.
Regular checks, so new pages and content keep to WCAG 2.2 AA.
Advice and a second opinion for your team as you plan, design and build.

Don’t Just Take Our Word for it
I am absolutely delighted with the new website that Joe from Squee has built me. I needed someone who understood my vision and after the first meeting with Joe I knew he and squee needed to be the people who redeveloped my website. He listened to what I wanted and what I didn't and produced a full CMS so I could keep the website updated. He was quick to make changes throughout the development process and walked me through how to use the CMS. The pricing was clear from the start as well any additional work and ongoing support packages. I thoroughly recommend Joe and Squee to build your next project.
Thank you to Joe at Squee Web design for building me a brilliant website for my new business. From the initial meeting, through to finished build, Joe has listened to my needs and acted on any request I made. All in just a few months. The speed and quality of work was amazing. I am delighted with the finished product and will definitely be using Squee again.
When advising businesses on how to be inclusive of disabled people, it's very important that our own material represents accessibility and inclusion. Joe Collett worked alongside me to develop our preexisting website to become something that truly reflected our values towards disabled people. Joe is a delight to work with. He is fun, passionate, considerate and talks in a way that makes complicated development subjects easy to understand.
Joe is doing web design and maintenance for GreenArt and once again, I am delighted with the work he has delivered. Joe is a pleasure to deal with and always goes above and beyond for his clients.
Thank you to Joe for updating our website at GB Solutions! It is so much better. The whole process was made really simple & Joe was really helpful. Joe created the design, and layout, so that it is so much more user friendly. I couldn't recommend Joe enough. If you're looking for a new website then 100% get in touch with Squee Design
After talking with Joe Collett and realising how useless accessibility plugins can be, it was clear our website was not inclusive at all! Thanks to Joe, we've now taken our first step by offering the ability to browse our menu with your keyboard. It seems like a small addition to the user experience but it's a big step for me that I am proud we are taking as we aim to make our website more accessible and inclusive following the WCAG Guidelines.
